Digital Arts Festival
Responsive Dreams is an art festival organized by The Generative Art Museum from Barcelona, Spain.
This year was its third edition and I was very happy to be invited and be a part of the festival with my work along other artists that I admire and personalities that I had the privilege to meet during the festival which took place on September 19-21 in Granollers, a small town 20 minutes from Barcelona.
Some of the artists present included: Aleksandra Jovanić, Amy Goodchild, Frederik Vanhoutte, HALO9999, Julian Hespenheide, Manuel Lariño, Mónica Rikić, Niklas Roy, Paolo Curtoni, Román Torre, Anna Carreras, Daniel Aguilar, among others who I had the pleasure to meet and interact with.
Getting there...
After 16.5 hours of transport: 2 flights ( 13 hours ), 1 train ( 3 hours ) and 1 metro segment ( 30 min ) I finally got to Granollers, a city in central Catalonia, about 30 km from Barcelona.
The event took place in Roca Umbert, Fàbrica de les Arts, an incredible public space set up in an old textile factory maintained by the local government where artists gather for events and work and activities.
We hung out at the bar between talks and presentations and really had a great time looking at all the people and activities taking place within the space.
